Fair comment, just want it known that "bias" & freedom of speech is what we're all about in Aussie, I would just like it recognized that bias, or difference of opinion, exists on both sides of the political arena, and we are so lucky that it can exist, in this great country of ours, when in so many other places, it cannot.

Of course the ABC has a left leaning bias, it is ingrained in their culture and obvious by reading the titles of the ABC news page. Other publications such as the Sydney Morning herald have a right leaning bias as they know how their bread is buttered. News.com would like to be considered as successful in purveying the truth as News of the World, but sadly isn't up to the mark.

Not sure if that’s meant to be satirical or not. How do the titles of ABC’s news page reveal their “left wing bias”?

Frankly, the ABC is at best centrist and notwithstanding what may or may not be the views of the individual newsreaders, they strive to be balanced. And the one thing that Australia’s right wing hates these days is balance.

I know quite a few rusted-on Liberal voters but the Parliamentary Liberal party is way to the right of them and holds very different values to my friends. I’ve always wondered at what point the Liberals will simply leave their constituency behind.
