You are in Geraldton, so you have no basis for your accusations.

Re the horse feeding, the DHHS website specifically states that animals can be cared for and this came up during the last lockdown too. Perhaps the police need to check the rules?

Haha, jeez Trout, are you really in Geraldton? From all your posts, I thought you had to be on the front line. Must be very worrying for you up there. The lockdown must be unbearable.

So its Geraldton bashing now is it??

We went Hard early in the piece and we still continue to socially distance ourselves even now and That is why we have NO dramas here.
IF other people lifted their game then they too would be able to enjoy the same as we now have in WA But it does take resolve and patience which seems to be sadly lacking in some areas.

0 new cases and 0 deaths in Geraldton, 459 new cases and 10 deaths in Melbourne speaks for itself.

And yet today WA had a birthday for a 105yo lady in a nursing home - no restrictions on visitors, no restrictions on social distancing - so what you say is not correct with respect to social distancing.

This is not a fun way to look at it. I may make a few people understand it is not a cold and flu like issue.

And the population of Geraldton compared to Melbourne is?

Some of the statements made in this thread are just ridiculous

The company i work for are shedding 600 staff quietly as a result of downturn in business Nationally, me included. Looks like i won't make until retirement , plus i had a huge bloody loss of super since Jan. At my age most likely scenario is i'll end up on dole or working 2 days a week as a casual somewhere and not enough super to retire. Not happy.

I’m sorry to hear that, I’m also expecting to have to move on some time between now and Christmas.

I reckon I'd be safe to assume that 'diabetes' deaths would have been similar last year, and before...and before. If anything, T2D deaths would be well under-reported as it invariably leads into 'Heart Disease' which may not be listed to T2D as "CoD"

I'd query the COVID numbers in the light of what the UK and US governments have been discovered doing... fudging the figures. Blatantly.

    For a blunt commentary:-
    Lockdown Deaths, Not Covid Deaths

    And,
This bloke is a GP who works with more than one Nursing / Care Homes, so he's familiar and up to date with what the NHS is doing...
COVID fear | Dr. Malcolm Kendrick

From memory, he was posing similar questions back in April.

But if you want detail as to how cause of death WAS defined .... before COVID, and now how it has changed -After COVID, go here:-

COVID 19 Is A Statistical Nonsense
