Some people refuse to be vaccinated, which allows diseases to make a comeback. Byron Bay is a known danger area with around a quarter of the population unvaccinated.

Not sure where people get the idea that TB had been "knocked on the head" - it is one of the most virulent diseases particularly in third world countries and super versions have appeared in first world countries.

True, highly drug resistant variants have been around for over 10 years.

A history lesson that some haven't factored in to the current situation.

if i got my maths right, more people died on TB in 2020 than of covid. 2021 is a different story.

Thanks Ian, that is what I thought happened. No, really.

Once again, furriners are causing strife, but I thought they were tested for TB. I recall the Army gave an injection to safeguard against catching it in (some weird name I recall, or don't, in this case) close living I guess?

Was it Mantou test???? See I didn't need Googs after all. Mantoux Test.

    Googs will tell me.

One goes to sleep at night trusting that others are looking out for our health, but sadly seems not, most of the time.

They worry about how much people will love them every 3 odd years. Can't sleep a wink in the interim..........their minds wander to strange places, way stranger than your particular welfare (or anyone else's).

Sleep well, the sun will rise in the morning and off we go again!

Thanks, I know that DL, & here the sun may well rise, but it has been heavy overcast & foggy mornings can't even see the B737s, go over low. Can hear them in the low cloud but sight them? No chance.

It sounds like a Chimney Pot will be the next thing to go with the TV antenna. I know, I know, it is the low cloud reflecting the sound down. But what if it isn't?

House Insurance excludes any object falling out of the Sky, a bit of a concern when a Chinese or other nation's Satellite, Space Capsule, Junk, is forecast & no-one knows where it will land, or even which country.

A Mel/Syd bound B737 would be a piece of cake to the Insurers.

It is the Track they take. Anyway they have to fly over somebody's gaff so why not mine or the paddock in between so Fairs fair, it is equitable to all ADEL Hills Dwellers. Air NZ flies it's big Air Buses on a slightly different track but still over #5 to MEL So slow, it is like a Ballet Dancer.

Truth be known in the fine weather, I really don't mind them, in fact during our initial shut down I missed them.

Gave a sense of normality when the Country started to open up again.
