And what of grey nomads? it is estimated there are 75,000 without a permanent home. Those who can not return to their homes because it is a hot spot, have been declared essential travellers, by the PM. The farmers of Australia [ the real ones] have been offering grey nomads free parking on their properties until the crisis is over. Now wouldn't you think it would have been a good idea for the NSW government to organise grey nomads to supervise hobby farms rather than let the owners move around the State, with the potential virus spread risk?

Coronavirus restrictions have left many grey nomads with no place to stay, so farmers are helping out - ABC News

    More and more of these….

    Dicknose
Person who wears a mask during a pandemic without covering their nose and looks like a penis hanging over the underwear.

Bet the antimaskers and dicknoses would insist on their doctors and nurses wearing masks during any surgical procedure they need.

The concept of stocking a property and then leaving the stock to their own devices , without some supervision, is just not on. It's a loophole in the restrictions, like the one the Sydney judge and his wife used to have a holiday at Thredbo during lock down. At any event, the proof is in the pudding, an entire State locked down. A government in denial.
Firstly, farming is different all across Australia so whilst not irrelevant your experience is vastly different from other areas of Australia and presumably somewhat dated
Secondly it is a legal requirement not to abandon animals as posted above
Thirdly where is your evidence that caring for livestock has in any way contributed to the spread of COVID? So far in NSW it has been released prisoners, girls flaunting rules to go to parties an non COVID believers “inspecting houses”
These posts are inflammatory and serve no purpose other than to make everyone on the forum miserable. Please consider this when posting negative stuff that is framed as highlighting the failure of everywhere except Qld

Zero cases in QLD today. Home quarantine down to 6,000 people. The border is locked up tight. Now we wait.

Byron Bay not happy chappies, " too many loopholes in the rules meant people could find reasons to travel to Byron. "

The Government announced today what the PM described as another million doses of HOPE (pfizer) from Poland to use for young adults in the effected LGAs in NSW.

First I also grew up on a farm and we didn't check the stock daily. Neither do most people who have stock on agistment.

Farming practices aside, there's no evidence of spread due to tending to animals.

    1. Poland is selling them because they're about to expire:

..... politicians explained their decision with a relatively short shelf life of Pfizer and AstraZeneca shots.
"In this situation, some vaccines can expire within two months," the daily added.
"That is why we have started talks regarding their resale,"

Poland to sell excessive amounts of Covid vaccines abroad – The First News

    2. As the Polish Embassy said, they'd expected to sell them to lower and middle-income countries, not supposedly developed ones:

"Poland has recently offered to share vaccines mainly with low and middle-income countries, including its Eastern neighbours, Balkan countries etc. The decision to also add Australia to the list was taken against the backdrop of the current outbreak of Delta variant in the country, following the talks between both countries’ officials, including the Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers.
After swift completion of all necessary procedures, the delivery will land in Australia shortly. Poland commends Australian authorities for excellent collaboration in a first joint operation of this kind and hopes that the provision will support Australia’s efforts to ramp up its vaccine rollout in this critical moment."

    2. 530,000 of the doses are going to Sydney. Victoria gets about 150,000.

    Edit:

"The per capita allocation to the remaining states and territories is: Victoria 175,500, Queensland 136,890, South Australia 47,970, Western Australia 70,200, Tasmania 17,550, Northern Territory 8,190, and the ACT 14,040."

NB, it's "Per capita" once NSW takes more than half ....
