One of the problems is it is being said the authorities won't accept a caravan as an isolation address right now and want people to rent apartments or houses. That seems dumb to me.
One of the families in a van pictured has been on the road for 18 months, the husband has a full-time online job with an insurance company and this is their home, they have no other address.
Whats the point of forcing them into a residential building? They can book into a national park for $50 a week here and be very isolated.
As the PM said, lets use our commonsense.
West coast of Tassie is about as isolated as you can get and still be in reach of a shop.

Why bring people closer to risk??

I’ve been working from home for the last 6 months so it’s business as usual.... but a couple of African jobs in the next couple of months have evaporated so If no local work eventuates I’ll be back to house painting and garden landscaping.

    Cheers

I was thinking today that those Asian bum washers are sounding good with this rubbish about toilet paper. Very hygenic too.

Not sure about the French, but bum washers are a standard fitting in Asia.

Those Japanese electronic toilets are pretty cool. Press the buttons and you even get warm water. Very hygenic. Lockdown/Stay-in-place situation, What are you planning to do?
