    What's everyone doing with all this spare time we have while locked down

    This is what I would like to be doing but not much chance at then moment.

    Yeah I have thought about self isolating in the bush somewhere, with a good book and a campfire..

    I might have to do it in my front yard instead! What's everyone doing with all this spare time we have  while locked down

    I have done all the maintenance on the boat including new wiring, switches and a flash new fusebox, Serviced the D2a and the 79 Series and now I am flat out creating a new veggie patch seeing as we wont be making our annual "Pilgrimage" North this year

    I'm interested in finding out what short term crops you guys can grow.....unless you are thinking longer term than me. It takes weeks from seeds to seedlings , then weeks more to produce anything of edible size.

    Might have to learn to eat grass. Plenty of that around now. Hahaha

    Fortunately for us, we have been pretty self sufficient with vegies for yonks. I'd suggest things like carrot, zucchini, turnip and pumpkin. I stagger the sowing so as to keep, hopefully, an on going supply.

    We also use a lot of Ceylon spinach as a green but, you have to keep an eye on it as it's a prolific grower. Carrots and turnips will show in week or two.
