Not so odd, most Digital Cameras have a B & W setting.
Just sharing a black and white image of my grandparents when they were young. Its and old photo my dad gave me to restore, which I did digitally. My 2 uncles are now super happy too as Nana (their mum) passed away very recently so they all have this fixed pictureGranddad passed before I was born so never got to meet him but grew up hearing his antics and how wonderful he was.
If anyone has old photos they'd like restoring, send them my wayeither scanned or the actual photo which I handle with utmost care and photograph myself and promptly send back

I added another sample of an image I restored for my sis, it's posted in another thread but thought should share here too

Sharing more stories of things I used to build as a younger lass(I am 34 now)
I built a cardboard truck, working bonnet and doors! It even had a motor!
The other is a plane I made for my pet rat, Stimpy. He used to love all things I made for him

Cripes! It is not often a Girl gives a bloke a Plane. It's usually the other way around.
I may just have a post ww2 B&W image that I asked a bloke in the UK to see if he could tidy up for me. He didn't & just disappeared. (a harbour at Sheerness showing surplus RN ships) Some of the Dunkirk little ships.. What if I bung that through to you online & you tell me what you can do with it? PM me your E-mail address & I'll do it, but if you can get the same quality as your Nana & Gramps image that would be great.
