Haha definitely started something here!! That's a good visual Tombie [emoji1787]
Thats cool you know one too!!! Wish were lady tank drivers here, is it a rule we aren't allowed to like it was with being a fighter pilot here (hope it's a changed rule now as really not cool things women aren't "allowed' to do haha)
"I thought you were told to get back to the Kitchen.? When you've done there, there is a basket of washing that needs doing, then that will need ironing then it will be tea time, so you'd best get weaving.:Rolling::burnrubber:"
Women were able to "dabble"/participate in the War Effort as Aircraft Ferry Pilots (from the smallest to the big 4 engine jobs, Lancaster, Stirlings, Halifax etc) & did one helluva good job. If you play your cards right you might be able to Ferry M1A1s around the world. Unarmed of course.:rulez:
Taken from the M1A1 Owner's operating Manual. Key Ring attached.
Besides, how hard could it be? Is all done with levers anyway Turn left, pull this one, to turn right pull this one Open breech pull another one, to close, yet another.
Start engine, push this one 'ere, to stop engine pull that other one over there. To adjust Driver's seat up, pull that one, to lower, push the same one with a pumping motion but harder. (hang on, that is the Mazda seat. Best delete that one  How did that get in there?)
Easy as falling off a Log really.:Rolling:
Well well, lookee here. As an experienced beach driver you would start with an excellent Salary. Might have to leave your beloved Discovery at home for Sis to play with while you are gone.

A man told me my place was in the kitchen once, that did not go well for him [emoji28]
I love the old time era but had I been born into it, I'd definitely have been thrown in jail or something [emoji1787]
8 years between these photos!!! The day picked up the Disco (is its old owner still on this forum?) and when washed it the other day. Few battle scars from fights with kangaroos, still the same headlight with a hole in it that it came with haha. Bullbar number 2 from when I wrote a commodore wagon off at 10kmph (the other was fine but went through insurance for the other guy, they decided to replace it haha) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6df3c8468f.jpg
How many kays have you added in those eight years? What made you decide on a Land Rover?
I cannot remember what it had km wise when I got it haha, its 418000 now though! I have always loved Landrovers, the want for one has been solid since was little, on a family 4wd trip, a disco was on this particular trip, and it ran rings around all the other 4wds. Then had a family range rover, after trying a disco but folks went the rangie. My friend who is passed now, she had a disco as well and spent so many hours in that. (hers is the wreck here now) I have been with fellas though who would tell me what I could or couldnt do, including my car choice, so was never allowed to have a landie! So as soon as I was my own woman 8 years ago, first thing I did was get the Disco! Have had so many 4wds and cars, its by far my fave. I love Defenders too. But just love the look of the disco's, and how they drive. Gives me a smile every time. Once get the hand controls in it, we are off adventuring too! Cannot wait! Feel like the Disco and I have been through so many storms LOL, we ride those waves now!
