Our Headmaster (today's Principal or Head Teacher) used to carry a leather shaving strop/strap tucked into his fat waistband. Jeezuz, could the bastard wield that with strength & accuracy!
Sometimes for the weakest of excuses too.
When summoned to his office, usually the smell of **** preceded you. [bigsad] It was probably that that gave him his excitement.
Jeez, glad I went to a non-denominational Grammar School.
We just got belted on the bum with a cane, a lot.

I got caned twice, the second time I was sent home for 2 weeks.
Apparently grabbing the cane in the hand that’s taken the strike, pulling it from the Headmasters hand and whacking him across the head with it isn’t acceptable. Who knew!
I was also assaulted by a Geography teacher from South Africa. Decided to pull my chatty arse out of my seat by my ear. Torn cartilage on my ear resulted in a broken nose for him.
That one at least didn’t result in any further action as the school wasn’t keen on the full story coming out.

Mostly everyone was nice at my school LOL. Even to offer assistance when driving there one day, had an altercation with a huntsman spider that ran across my steering wheel
(in a little Mitsubishi Colt I had back then) Initially, I screamed and left my car right there in the middle of the road and ran off! Then it went INTO the dash. Got brave, and made it to school, where my mate who was riding with me, went and got help, and teacher army with fly spray came and some dash came out, it was located and was no longer in the land of the living.
Ground hog day the very next day with ANOTHER ONE. This time up in the roof!! so sis and I pulled roof lining out haha.
Had a massive one in my disco a couple of years ago. Well, lots because a bag full of fencing stuff that had a colony of huntsmans was put in my car! As soon as it was discovered to be full of giant spiders, it was removed. Some of the not so little buggers stayed. Driving along (my now ex was driving at the time, I was in the passenger seat) It was dark. Suddenly a HUGE SPIDER is sillouetted in the street light right in front it me, on the INSIDE of the windscreen. I screamed like someone was murdering me. Then tried to get out of the car whilst it was still moving. Car halted fast, and I tried to run, but I actually cannot run, and require wheelchairs these days, and in the panic, I couldnt even stand (I can hobble the length of my car with some effort) So I then fell out of my car instead of a running escape. It was a nightmare come true. I am terrified of huntsman spiders LOL. (love those little cute jumping spiders. Did you know that they are really clever and can map out mission impossible style stunts to take down prey?)
I did not go near my car for 1 week, other than every day, sprayed a heap of bug spray in it, and sealed it all up. Found 5 more spider bodies in there. Please dont hate me because I am a spider killer. It was life or death haha. I also apologise for bad typing tonight, having extra trouble with my hand so it is not doing what I say too well tonight.
