Good to see the 'Big Fella' enjoying his muesli for breakfast. Wet chaff, I'm guessing....
Love the 'high-tec' wheel spinner.
Is it connected via Bluetooth or Wireless? If so, does it have a warning LED for when the battery gets low? A buzzer...?

He has a few things in his dinner, it is wet and there is chaff haha.
You know that is an excellent question! It's wireless but I don't know how it's powered. It would have a battery in it, I'll have to ask them about that! Spinner will always work but the functions would not

Those spinners are very useful even if they are illegal, funny how you can/could buy them in auto shops. Years ago my brother was in a car accident that wrote off his car, not badly hurt but had to wear a neck brace and sling for his arm, we'd inherited a BMW from my other brother so I fitted a spinner for him so he could drive to work for a few weeks. We also got one of those big banana rear view mirrors for the car and as it didn't have a passenger side mirror I tucked an angle bracket with a blind-spot mirror in to the passenger door frame, so he didn't have to turn his head in the neck brace, which worked well so I didn't have to drive him to and from work everyday.
I first saw one of those spinners in about 1953 (or that is when I remember first seeing one) - an uncle of mine was missing half his right arm (cement mixer, I believe). He was able to grip the wheel in his elbow while changing gears. I think he had a mechanical hand signal like trucks and buses had, but I don't remember how he worked it. (At this time turn signals were almost non-existent, and in any case they and stop lights were not a legal replacement for hand signals.)
Its crazy how can buy them at auto shops, when if get pulled over with one of those auto shops ones it's a huge fine and demerit points (same for me if I was pulled over and not using one) and insurance void.
The auto shop ones are also because of how flimsy they can be. Very very different to the proper ones. But even the proper ones are a safety issue in an accident which is also why need the approvals and training.
Its also good they are an option like in your case there as helped your brother, and was fast. Takes ages to get the disability ones and that whole process [emoji28]
I have a shop bought one on my ride on mower. An actual John Deere one as tried thr auto shop ones and didnt feel safe with it.
The ones in my car pop out of the base for when anyone else drives my car too
how my hand controls work 🥰still learning them! #Landrover #discovery2td5 #disabilityawareness
This is my hand controls. Anyone else here hear the misfire? Couple commented on it [emoji23] its done that for ages, then doesn't after a minute or so. [emoji2368] I've still got to put in the new glow plugs and injector harness loom. One said it sounds serious though so now I'm worried [emoji28] it's got loads of power etc and drives great so it could even be phone picking up and changing sounds how they do
The spinners are legal so long as you do not fit them to a registered vehicle. So there are legal uses just that the seller probably does not advise this at point of sale
