Ace's VIII- June Long Weekend

Hi all, i know Redback has organised a trip for the same weekend and i dont want to take the light away from his trip but i am just offering something closer to home for those who cant make the longer trip for various reasons.

Ok the plans, It will be planned for the saturday sunday and monday (10-13/6/06) people can arrive any they want on saturday but we will start off a bit later given there are three days to play, about lunch time should do, then when everyone has arrived we can go off for a play around Lake Lyall, Ben Bullen State Forrest or what ever is decided upon. For sunday i have emailed Roverone to see if he can show us some tracks around orange give he has moved into the area, if he cant we can get some maps out, i remember Scouse saying he wanted to explore Sunny Corner State Forrest, there is quite a bit out that way. Then on monday (or possibly another option for sunday) there were quite a few side trails in Jenolan State forrest we wanted to try out last time but didnt get a chance to do so i thought we could do that.

The tracks wont be hard core stuf just enought to be challenging and fun so those newbies to the forum are more than welcome and it would be great to meet some of you, if you have a standard car thats fine we wont be doing any vehicle breaking stuff so just come along.

Noddy it is mandatory for you to attend so you can tell us all about your big trip.

Oh, a big camp fire will be provided to fight off the lithgow cold.

Again Ace's BBQ will be fueled up ready for use so you will only need stuff to cook your lunches, but I have a portable BBQ for the day trips if we want hot food. Matt

Tar for the invite, but were off to the Brindabellas for the long weekend
we would have loved to have come to another of Ace's BBQ's.

Would love to get out for another BBQ, unfortunately I'll be off to a mates property for the weekend so will have to catch up some other time.

i cant give an answer just yet....
but i do know that with this new job i wont be working on the monday.....

dunno if im working on the saturday though...and i just used up all my dollars
just to go shooting on the saturday night.....
(i had to borrow some dollars just so i could get fuel to get home...

)

but i will definitely try to get there.....

Sorry Ace I'm in the brindies with tony and the gang. Were going snow hunting I think. Already told work I will be sick after the long weekend trying to thaw out and assessing the frost bite

. I'm even getting maps later this week and chassing up the best places to go.

No worries guys, if i cant get some takers i might put it off a few weeks so people can come, it was short notice but i thought i would give it a go. Have fun in the brindabellas. Matt
