How about that for a brief description?

    Again, fair call.
Being the usual honest person who would automatically fess up/pay up, my mind would not normally think that convolutedly. Having said that I now recall including in the rental arrangement I drew up and which was presigned by both parties included accepting liability for such instances for the time/distance period of the relocation.
Like Sir Lionel, I suspect we can now close this thread until finding out the new vehicle brand.

    Hello Gavin,

The vehicle in question is paid for - along with its freight to my door. It will be sometime next week before it leaves your side of the sea Gavin.

It will be interesting to see what vehicle arrives here first ... the one from WA and Bluey who is on another thread. posted on this forum.

It was soooo much more easy organising freight from Perth to Bundaberg .... Fingers crossed I have Bluey's freight sorted out. Bluey right at this moment is sitting on the trailer of an International Eagle 9900 Truck headed up the cost road from Sydney to Brisbane. This afternoon I may sorted out Bluey's last leg: Brisbane to Bundaberg. I might sleep well tonight. It has been a while trying to sort things out.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

Thanks Lionel. I was aware of your decision and was just replying to JDNSW.

I had a ute work version of your IH/Chrysler acquisition when working for Kaisers in the NW many years ago. It would go almost anywhere my LR Series 2 would - a very impressive vehicle. I trust it will give you much enjoyment.

    Hello All,

I was a bit busy with Bluey (see another thread) and did not have much time to think about my Perth purchase yesterday. I did keep the mobile close-by while travelling home from Brisbane. Today I was a bit distracted with working out things like Cleveland 302 motors and Holley carburettor and the correct ignition coil.

After dark I texted the sales representative in Perth. I was informed that the - remaining temporarily nameless - vehicle was picked up and is on its way directly to me in Bundaberg. I would expect the vehicle to be unloaded in Brisbane and put on another car transport truck that is doing the Northern run.

I was a bit worried because I heard on the car radio that WA was further tightening its borders. I thought that maybe this might include car carrier trucks ... especially with my new toy on it.

How many days could I expect to wait for the vehicle to arrive if it say left Perth this afternoon?

I must be patient - I must be patient....

    Kind regards
    Lionel

That's assuming the truck's coming direct. Your car may be transhiped in Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney or all, the truck may also make deliveries en route, stretching the ETA.
