Ah the memories of mowing under the fence and splattering 4 cane toads everywhere. Then taking off the grass catcher and touching my lips which went numb for several hours.

The poor old chooks used to peck them in their water trough and they would then die of a paralyzed throat.

After a storm in Brissy they would be all over the road and you would swerve to pop as many as you could.

Now you are not supposed to use them as cricket or golf balls but put them in the freezer to be "humane"

As if I feel any sympathy to a bloody cane toad.

I'm sympathetic towards them , I sanitise them with dettol before I humanely freeze them , I mean I don't want any infections in my freezer , but they take off like a rocket and I don't seem to be able to catch them to freeze them.

I use a 50/50 mix of Dettol and metho in a spray bottle.

Once they are sprayed, they hop about a metre and then freeze where they land.

Job Done!

Yep Cane Toads are Queenslanders but Mexicans are Victorians - as they are from south of the border.

have you seen a cockroach nest.....**** everywhere.

let's bring another ****ty little pest in......that stinkin little pink lizard , which I will not call a gecko.

they seem to breed in our ceiling and **** down through the gaps between our cornices and our rough faced bricks.

they do not like mothballs so I throw mothballs around the ceiling spaces but that doesn't stop the little bastards from breeding elsewhere and ****ting all over our outside furniture.

now, can someone tell me , is there also a nice humane way , similar to the humane way I treat the cane toads, that can help me eliminate the little bastards?
