    OverDrive units for the Defenders?

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has one of those GKN units fitted or is it (GNK)? Are they any good? Who sells them?, Wanna go faster, less revs! etc.

    Cheers Sumo.

If it's for touring you can replace the 1.4 t/case gears with 1.2s, thats a useful 15% approx drop.

There are some Rocky Mountain overdrives too, but I've never heard of anyone here fitting one.

    Regards

I recommend you give MR Automotive a call (they're local to me). I was there the other day and they had a big LR 130 5th wheeler rig to which they were fitting, among other things, an overdrive.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
