Our tip is still open thank goodness as I have taken 3 loads of old corrugated iron there so far and still have at least another couple of loads to go before I finish the back roof

Our local tip is open and has waived the fees so the operator doesnt have to handle cash. Good time to clear out the shed. The recycling tip shop and the charity recyclers are not operating and I threw out some "good stuff" from a shed clean. It went into scrap metal and general waste bins
The rural areas of the shire dont get roadside pickup so have to go to the tip or their local transfer station

All I can say is I’m bloody glad to be living in WA and not in NSW. At least they’ve applied some common sense over here in the way that this pandemic is being managed. I’m in hospital in Perth at the moment. Was allowed to drive here even though there are strong controls in place - was checked by WA Police at Coolgardie and again by Police and Australian Army on the outskirts of Perth.

Our rubbish tips are still open and functioning normally. The last of the cruise liners left Fremantle last night (and the cruise liner issue has been well managed here, unlike the bloody fiasco which occurred in Sydney). I’m looking forward to the return trip to Kalgoorlie later this week. At least the Disco is getting to stretch its legs.
    Cheers .........

Ours is only open Monday to Friday for commercial customers, domestic is on an as needs basis (if the waste could cause a health hazard) and needs to be prearranged.
