    Can only remember a couple of the opening acts to Alice Cooper.

    LIVE BANDS.

    Not many bands made it to Hobart but saw Max Merritt, Thorpie, La De Da's, Masters , at local venue .

    Also Donovan, Hawkwind, Manfred Mann, Shadows, at the Town Hall. All late 60's early 70's.

    Daddy Cool, Captain Matchbox, et. al. in Melbourne on holiday.

    I had a chance to see Hawkwind in London in '96. I still cry myself to sleep over not going. I have most of their early to '90s albums.

    They play footage from the Stones concert at Kooyong occasionally on Rage, filmed in very grainy black and white......

    I missed out on seeing them in 91 in London, apparently they played an all night gig.

    Was that bad brains with H.R on vocals? I refused to go see them when he was no longer in the band. Huge fan here

    Was amazed as many of the audience were parents with their kids :-)
