The bills have all been paid, Epic Dragon has been reimbursed (under protest) for the money she fronted and advanced the cost of a battery. The account used is back to the initial, maintenance balance of $1.20.

I too can remember Inala in the early 1960s shortly after getting married to my first wife,remember the address too,Flat D Block 1 Brolga st Inala, was driving cabs for Ascot Taxies

We lived in Skylark St - we had a house. The houses in that area were poured concrete. The builders set up formwork complete with window openings and poured it in one go. The aggregate was comprised of really large stones. When the formwork came down, they'd render the result.

The entire suburb's streets were named after birds. It was a massive Housing Commission area, with mostly ten quid tourists.
