And the one about Little Richard performing in Sydney , seeing the sputnik shoot across the sky and took it as a sign from above, and gave up music for religion. Apart from some of his groundbreaking musicality, we are a strange people who sometimes idolise those with self destructive and sometimes highly antisocial behaviours..

I think most of us only know the music. We never meet the musician, or mix in their circles , their music can brighten our mundane lives. I dare say we would not like to know the secret lives of those that are put on pedestals in our society. Across the board.
