On the same path of gas and drones I was listening to a company using Hydrogen as the gas and suggesting 8 hours +. I did chat with a former soldier who flew some military drones which had carrying capacity over the 50kg capacity. Never seen as they could go BANG and are only flying on Military ranges and over the Oceans and far away Sorry it rhymed and I could not resist it.
