I was told by the local police, when I had mean dogs, not to put up any signage about the dogs.
And, if they killed anyone to make sure the body was in my yard by the time they (the Police) turned up.

I had similar advice, years ago, when we had trouble with a persistent prowler. Smash a window from outside, drag him in, call us.

I knew a bloke who used to train security guards at Wormald's. His advice was to call out loudly if encountering a threatening intruder " stop, or I will shoot" first shooting the intruder then fire the warning shot into the floor or ceiling. Of course the report will say the guard called out a warning then fired a warning shot before shooting the intruder.

My Brother told me you need a chain saw when you live past the Toll Gate. (A local site in the middle of the M1 Tracks/freeway) I would add to that plus a 4WD. Gottahaves for sure. [Tongue in cheek of course.]



What a bunch of wonkers to say the least. You really need a couple of Disco Mick's "Land mines". That should sort them out, albeit in a 1000 pieces.

Then there is always the "I fired a warning shot over his head, but he jumped" excuse.
