    Has anyone noticed Cosmo rear in Mazda ad.

    Has anyone noticed that Mazda have inserted a shot of a Cosmo rear end in their latest ad?


    seems that they may have a better sense of history than LR.
    I have always respected the Japanese for respecting earlier styling in their later models. For example a Nissan Skyline always has 2 round taillights.
    There are lots of other examples.

    Yes I noticed it , I don't watch ads really , but my peripherals picked it up. Not sure why they included it...err yes I do , so that people like me see it and now watch the ad to find out why.

    Very clever , the ad gurus aren't always dickheads.

    Yep - I spotted the Cosmo rear end in the ad. Haven't seen one of those in years.
    Mazda has made some great cars over the years - until recently, the son had this one plus an RX4 coupe (personally I liked the RX4 better - I reckon they were the best looking Mazda ever made).DSCF1309c.jpg

    My son had one just like this.



    Noisiest bloody car I ever heard.
    Funny thing. I went to pick it up with him and have a look. I said to the seller "does the aircon work?" He said it hasn't got aircon. I said "Well what is that big thing on the engine that looks like a compressor?"
    He looked blank.
    I looked inside and found a little light bulb thing where the button had broken or fallen off, pressed it and voila airconditioning.
    That was hilarious as the drivers window was stuck up and it was summer.
    Some people !
