You've got a problem there, Bob.
An optical micro comb sounds like what I'd comb my hair with, but it sounds like a technological break through. An Australian one, it seems
Internet traffic is growing 25% each year. We created a fingernail-sized chip that can help the NBN keep up

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Don't want to look like a sailor, in the coming fight against you know who, the press gangs will be about . [ the smart people will head for the hills] Probably the real reason xxxx is giving away free beer. Gather all the old matelots around the keg, wait 'til they pass out, and hey presto, the Queens shilling . Although with the British economy lately, it will probably be the Queens farthing.DVA look after me very well, thank you.

Getting back to the NBN, how come before the Corona Virus you could have X amount of NBN & that's it.
But all of a sudden, now a lot are working from home, you can get 40% more for free?
Does the NBN have a just in case thing going on?
This is, of course, unless you are on satellite, like us, where a shower of drizzle takes the bloody thing out.

They're offering us satellite. We are on a main road a short drive from The Sunshine Coast, which has 347,000 residents, with perfectly functional electricity, telephone and ADSL connections, and the NBN can't even run a cable to us. Seriously? I mean, Origin Energy can find us, Telstra can find us, but we're too remote for the NBN. Really?

Best of luck with satellite.
If it rains it goes out, if it's windy it goes out, if it's stormy it goes out, if a bird lands on it, it goes out. Sometimes it goes out for fun.
Not to mention the naf amounts of bandwidth you get. Oh, and it's slow.
Apart from that it works very well.
Lucky we are all equal NBN wise!
