Righto Spudfan, the penny has dropped, at least for me.

Now look, I've never had to go through this sort of thing, as I am the epitome of all things masculine. However, I would suggest flowers, diamonds, Champagne, some sort of diet and exercise regime, less Guinness, NO, ignore that as that's just stupid, a brown paper bag over one's head, have a bath or shower and of course the BIG ONE that will achieve miracles.............a huge lottery win!

My wife thinks my sight is failing because, after 50 years of marriage, I still think she's beautiful.

I'm in agreeance with you, Ron. I can't believe I actually committed that to print, it's sure to come back to bite me.

I didn’t know that you’d met my wife to know what she looks like.

Roma Street, she was holidaying with you, so I assumed she was your wife. Who ever she was, she was a charming lady.

I hope when the two of you finally reunite, she doesn't rush past you, arms outspread and hug'n'kiss the clean shaven bloke behind you.
