Where'd you buy the kit Spud?
You will recall that my daughter got her first car, a 300 tdi 7 station wagon some months ago. I got her a toolkit to go with it. I got this message from my daughter this morning.
The house beside my stable is getting done up for someone to move in and the builders came over to me this morning saying they couldn't remove the radiator and would I have *insert tool name here* in my land rover so I said I've no idea but come and have a look and lo and behold.
This is the toolkit I got her. It is by Siegen and has all of the basics she should need (and other people as well it seems).
They saw the Land Rover so assumed she would have tools. I wonder if they would have come over to her if they had seen a NEW 90 modelparked at the stable?
Where'd you buy the kit Spud?
I got it online. It is basic but it has all she can use. Like us all it will no doubt be added to in the future. The shop I bought it from is out of stock but the details are here.
Siegen S0974 Tool Kit (25 Piece) - TOOLSAVER
Mmmmm............a claw hammer.![]()
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
The hammer came with the kit. There was no perfect kit. This one had most of the basics and came in a case that can be stored in the 90.
I kept getting offered this last year on facebook for $89 .... I drive past hte 4wd supacenter everyday. So I stopped and had a look ... The tools look very good quality. I couldn't help myself, I now have one in the back of the range rover. The only addition being a 27mm breakers bar (wheelnuts). I also need to by a few of those $10 multi-meters and put and put one into the kit too (and maybe some lengths of wire ... and possibly a butane soldering iron). if I was wealthy I'd add a 12volt superscope iron in there

If you drive old ****boxes like me, everyone does a beeline for you if they need tools or jumper leads. The assumption being anyone driving and old car will need tools I guess![]()

4. If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem.
