Nine out of ten Western Australians agree with the border closures and I imagine that the people living in SA and the NT are pretty much like minded.
QLD is a Massive State Why not play in your own backyard until the dust settles to retain your sanity

We are quite happy sitting on our little island well away from large crowds. Doubt many of them will want to travell South during the winter, especially with the quarantine 2 weeks involved.

Plenty to see and do in each of our respective states own back yards.

A few months is hardly going to really hurt anyone. Distraction is the key, Idle hands and Idle minds and all that!

Our first "getaway" was 90 minutes away to a National Park - sat there drinking Rum and relaxing outdoors by the fire. It was sufficient to recharge the batteries for another few weeks.

Agreed.
If the truth be known, most people that want to travel interstate wouldn't have seen All that their own State/territory has to offer yet.
NOW is a "Golden" opportunity to do just that

yes Trout , I agree there.

Queensland outback is bloody amazing in some areas.

Biggest problem is having to drive over the same long distances to get to see the new ones.

In my regular meanderings to SA it is basically a west and south route or south and west.

I think in my 30 odd trips there and back I have driven nearly every combination of south and west that exist. It's been fun and the people you meet!!!!!
