I have had several spells in hospital since I have had a beard - bone spur on foot, ear removal, hernia, and have never lost more than the minimum necessary for the operation.
Had the trim downstairs for an angiogram a bit over a year ago. (no stent needed).
Anything beats a bypass... the leg they harvest the graft from (usually the Great Saphenous Vein) can get thicker, slower circulation etc. - Too many of my R shoes are now overly tight to wear. [bigsad] plus a % of patients can have a cognitive decline several years afterwards...Quote:

Had stents before, very much a non-event. Disappointing also, as the (groin) scars cannot be shown off to garner 'sympathy'.[bigwhistle]
