Just got a smack in the face over a topic I thought was great +. Doctor shoppers have been a PITA for me for years. ( I am not a Doctor)

Vic beat the Feds in a Prescription monitoring system which helps alert doctors to people asking then asking the asking for items I personally am scared of. Was on the heaviest Duty possible for 5 days last year. Every five minutes for 5 days was more than enough for me

I was told what I was on was 40 times stronger than heroin. It is also a huge problem with drug abuse in America killing thousands plus. I was given a bucket load of another one endone which I did not take and honestly put in an infectious waste disposal bin 7 months ago. A staff member told me they sell for $30 per tablet on the party set (SICK) I burnt well over several thousand worth

Back to Vic. Now if your on any opioid Schule 8 ( don't quote me- I am not a Doc Schedule 8 permits and notifications - health.vic) you need to see not just your Doc but likely a pain specialist.

This all sounds great to me until I found that the impact of better control in the US and other places saw many people who were slightly misusing opioids stopped getting their 'controlled' medicines and moved to the illegal ones and other fun stuff like ice and amphetamines

From happy to see effective control to being worried for some nice people who got a significantly different out come to pain management that I did. A side effect I did not expect.
