Electric 4x4 mine vehicles, a look at the future?

From Outback Travel Australia . Electric Landcruisers from three makers. Mainly intended for the mining industry, could they be fore runners of the EV 4x4?

Surely longer range would come in proportion to demand , and development. Like everything else, nothing happens unless they can see a profit.

    Trade off is weight.

To carry the capacity with current tech the weight of the battery packs is excessive. Rendering the vehicle useless.

    I’m sure this will change.
