    I just bought a Land Rover SVX!!!!!!!!!!!

    Believe it or not, I have been able to purchase a genuine Land Rover SVX , as featured in the last AULRO magazine.

    It was sometime getting here, as you can imagine, for something made by a Brit company, for the US market, and it had to come via China.

    It was actually cheaper than I thought, and for a non-production car, is in remarkably good nick.
    I will never be able to register it though , although am happy to bring it to the next AULRO/GCLRO/RRCQ outing.

    Sidewall flex is going to be a problem on sand I suspect.... airing down isn't going to help.

    Everytime I wonder into K-Mart or Big-W I ask my son if he wants to check out the toys section. That's just so I can go and have a look for a Hot Wheels of the D3 but still haven't seen any. I found a D2 once but it looked pretty cr@p.

    I'm still looking.

    At leeast you'll be able to play with it farnarkle, I noticed the 3+ on the top right hand corner.
    I've got two little D2's one is suppposed to be gold plated.

    Yeah that SVX is old news. I bought one for my nephew last year. Every time I see a matchbox Landie I buy it for him. He's got a few now. Never too early to start the brainwashing.....
