Don't you dare go into care, Mario. Can you imagine trying to store all the 'Rover bits in a single room? I think you'd end up at loggerheads with Matron, in very short order.
I feel for you, mate, I wish there was something I could do the make your life easier.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

There's more too this, My OT hasn't provided enough back up info in her report and I have a tough planner at the NDIS and red flags me every moment.
The Wheel chair $24K, they are questioning why I need a walking stick in a wheel chair to access the community, (I currently use it for support when getting in and out of it presently) A chair has to last a minimum of 5 years to 10yrs. They also want to ensure it caters for me in the future as My condition further deteriorate . Like transfer from Wheel chair to commode, access to areas inside the house like bathroom, living, kitchen and passage bedroom. I can't get the rental inside the house due no access points.
So before they approve the $35 k for a lift they want to make sure the chair will work inside. Re the lighting they are asking my movements and hours. I do go out at night in the dasrk and the lighting is poor in the surrounds. foot rest leg raisers, evidence that they are necessary for my feet and leg edemas, and if a condition of my msa and if alternative methods could be used.
That also holds up the $20k for the bathroom and the $8.5k for the specialised commode chair.

The $9K bed is on hold as they need more evidence on my pressure sores and the need for the air mattress and pump I am currently hiring. The cheap alternative is a foam mattress, but since I can not move in bed lying down I am forced to lay on one part off the body most of the night, the air mattress is needed.
then as my condition deteriorates there will be need of a hoist to get me out of bed and transfer to the chairs.
Then they question the safety aspect of the bed poles I am using as it could be an entrapment issue. I use these poles to drag myself in bed to turn over and get up along with the tilt bed. I now that if I was to get my head and neck over the side of the bed and then use the head lift function of the bed you could get crushed between them. but these poles are a disabilty purpose made item.

Then they are questioning the hours for an assessment for specialist trial of electronic voice devices, ( these devices are around $19ish?) and extensive trials of these devices is required to get the correct one. I believe this conducted my yooralla/scope. My ability to communicate is waning.

I realise that they are seeing value for money for the tax payer as there is a lot of money involved and to ensure I get the correct aids as once approved and something goes wrong then I cant come back a have it fixed.
I just want to be able to live as independently as I can as agreed with them on the initial planning meeting that I signed. l don't and will refuse to go into a home, I'll die here.
    .
My NDIS manager hopes to get all this sorted by the end of the week coming.

The controller has a LED screen which is hard to see in sunlight and would be harder to see with sunnies. It controls the tilt for steep footpath road crossovers and speed automatically. if you tilt it back on really steep footpaths we have here, the speed deceases to tortoise mode, to increase to the speed back,so I can cross a steep gutter to cross the road and not have to pause to stop and tilt down to get my safe speed ,on the fly so i can cross quickly and safely. they are questioning that.
Lucky I didnt ask for the optional USB port or the Rod holder accessory. or an umbrella holder
