Yeah it was a pretty good show and all the Landie's were a welcome sight !

I don't know how many of you saw the ABC mini-series about East Timor - I thought it should have been longer than two episodes so you could get to know the characters and the background politics better but nevertheless the final episode was very powerful imho.
Not relavent to the story but relavent to this forum I thought I should point out, for those who didn't see it, the series was wall-to-wall Land Rovers. The UN drove Discos, the Indonesian military drove -er- Defenders (?) and the Militia drove Series vehicles. Hardly anything moved that wasn't a Landy!

I think it was filmed in Northern Queensland so they must have bought up big on Series 1 Discos. I've only seen epsisode one and there were a couple of white base models and at least one ES model with the twin sunroofs.
Vehicles aside you have to feel compassion for the majority of locals who are just trying to get on with their lives at the moment.
