NZ Army buys Bushmasters to replace Pinzgauer's

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Yep, a good decision. One of several our Minister of Defence has made in his capacity as Minister. He has served and understands the requirements a lot more than the predecessors going back a few. It is unfortunate he is a member of the smaller coalition party, NZ First. Their current polling would indicate problems getting back in come November election.

We live in an area bounded by the Army Base at Linton, the Airforce Base at Ohakea and the Army base in the central plateau, Waiouru. We see a lot of military traffic on the roads going between bases and in the air out of Ohakea. Look forward to seeing the Bushmaster out and about when they get here.

I remember the reports from our first troops who deployed in Bush masters to Afghanistan. The Brits chucked off at them, calling them weak, because the Brits. deployed in unprotected Land Rovers. That lasted until the first IED's. Our boys were very grateful for the bush master.

I was part of the trials...good piece of kit although the production run was a slightly lesser bit of kit than B1 and B2.
