Tweed residents do everything in Qld anyway - work, play, medical, shopping etc - so why not make it official?

That should get a reaction. He Bogged a Jeep
How about go the other way and give us up to Currumbin creek and we’ll promise never to cross the border again...

I was going to say Brisbane River but your suggestion will work just fine. The whole thing used to be ours anyway. Ungrateful buggers!
    Cheers,

Queenslanders already treat Byron Bay as a southern extension of the Gold Coast, and lots of Northern NSW people support the Maroons, so how about we make the border that big new roundabout on the south side of Ballina?

Anyway it doesn't matter because NSW Premier GladysB has flatly rejected the idea of moving the checkpoint south to the Tweed River.
That means she has refused to help the NSW residents living on the Tweed to avoid the checkpoint delays and get to work faster on the Gold Coast, so they should be grumpy at Gladys, not AnastaciaP, who tried to help them, but was snubbed by Gladys.

Sorry - what am I missing here? What has NSW/Qld border closures related to Covid19 got to do with a jeep getting bogged in WA - maybe these Covid19 posts need to be moved to the CoronaVirus thread.
