Cool Who's off to the snow?

As the start of the ski season fast approaches (3 DAYS!!! ) i figured this would be an appropriate topic and question.

so, who's going to enjoy the snow this year? and where are your favourite places?

i'll be there, 2nd week of the school hollidays (NSW)!!! going to perisher (among other places)!!!

    cheers,
    bryce

It's the mail reason we bought Omaroo

Cooma isn't far from any of the resort areas - Thredbo, Perisher, Guthega or Selwyn.

    Last year at our place:

Not much snow down at the Vic resorts so us Victorians going to have to wait a bit longer.

    Green with envy

Broonsky - we have a bunch from LROC Sydney coming down this long weekend. We could probably host an AULRO trip down there mid-winter this year. Stick a fire on.... muld wine....good food.....ahhhh! Use it as a base and people could go skiing from there. We are about 45 minutes from Jindabyne, so it's not that far to go back and forth for a couple of days.

We don't have any accomodation on the place other than our little caravan - and we bags that! A good tent or camper van and all's sorted.

im off to wonnagatta station (vic highcountry) this weekend leaving friday morning then on sunday heading towards jameison via the back of
    MT BULLA .

so im thinking we might see some snow hopefully ,nothing like a nice crisp night around a camp fire sinking the odd beer or three so if i dont freeze to death you should hear from me next week

I'm off to my unit in Jindabyne tomorrow afternoon , but only for the weekend

I wasn't aware snow was forecast so I hope it buckets down. I'll be going to Thredbo and around the Alpine Way to Geehi Walls - can't wait.
