Well, Vic. & NSW are the non-productive administration, corporate headquarters and service states that vacuum up the wealth created by the export industries of the productive states, Qld. & WA. The export income from the primary production and natural resources of Qld. & WA is what fuels Australia. Look at what happens to our dollar when the prices of these exports fall.
