doesn't look like it's on in sydney yet. been watching the program guide and no sign of it yet.
but if you want to see solid gold comedy, watch a program called "no limits".
    it's scary!

I use Linux - so all I needed to do was use a program called "wget" which literally goes to the URL and grabs the file directly. I grabbed both of the episodes (which are only 20Mb or so each). I would put them up for download from my web server - but that would be breaching copyright. Being a software designer - I don't do that sort of thing.

    # wget http://www.sitename.com/folder/filename.abc will just go ahead and grab the file "filename.abc" from that server.

You can get wget for windows too.

I think you need to register to be able to download.

The first ep is http://www.the4x4show.com.au/videos/episode1.wmv and you guessed it the second is http://www.the4x4show.com.au/videos/episode2.wmv my machine will allow to watch or download - usually downloads quickly as the screen is only small and the compressed quality is pretty low.

But what the hell - good show, cannot wait for it to arrive on TVS!!!

I like 4wdtv don't get me wrong, but there are few things about that are ordinary.

    1. There is a bit too much "full on/hardcore/comp rig" stuff. I like seeing comp stuff and rock crawlers etc., but occassionally, not for the majority of the show - every week.

    2. The very very very bad music!! Even a metal/grunge/hardcore fan would say that it is ****. Musically it's crap, talent wise its crap, timing, presentation and fitting in with the show its crap.

    3. Simon needs a few presentation skills, and to change the tone and pitch of his voice occassionally.

Other than that it's a good show and I'll continue to watch it every week!

i guess that's why it's on community TV. i definitely agree that simon needs to move on from the "ettingshausen school of tv voice over techniques".
having said that, i'd just like to give him a pat on the back for getting a show like this off the ground. an area that has failed so many times before. apart from a bit of "polish", i think they are doing pretty well.

Oh yeah, bloody oath, don't want to be too much of a critical bastard - he's doing something I'd love to be doing- and doing it well.
