    Almost correct. This is our second daughter on an outing with her older sister who owns the pony. As you can see our second daughter is one of those "special" people who Santa always has to visit! Always happy and always with a smile and a hug. Early twenties now and as myself and Mrs Spudfan get on in years we are wondering who will be looking after who! Anyway I just thought I'd share the photo in the hope it can put a smile on somebody's face.

    Well this is the other person in my older daughter's life (the other is the pony). When he asked my daughter to go out with him she explained he was getting a package deal, if anything happened to my wife and myself her sister was moving in. As you can see he accepted the conditions...and there is another great smile from my daughter.

    I remember my daughter taking part in a "sports day" event for people with special needs. She was in a race so I stood at the finishing line to cheer her on. All went well until she got to just before the finishing line where she stopped running, turned to me, gave me a big smile and a wave and said "Hello Daddy".

    When my oldest daughter was studying to become a teacher she was helping out at a small theatre company with the S Troupe with special needs ( her cousin who is the same age as her was a member of S Troupe) . In her last year of study she asked us if she could do two more years study to become a special needs teacher , she found it so fulfilling working with these kids. She has always said it is so good teaching special needs the kids are there because they want to be there & not because they they have to be there . She is so good with them , just last year she found work experience for six of her students & out of those four secured jobs from the work experience . It must be very rewording.
