A mates's father was apprenticed as an electrical fitter at Harland & Wolff, Belfast, in the early 1920's. He had a full tool kit of bronze spanners etc. for work on dangerous goods ships. My mate still has them and the lovely oak toolbox with a few items broken or lost over the near 100 years.
