    Beyond 2morrow

    Hi Guys
Anybody see the show last nite????
If I win lotto Im getting one of those polished aluminium Cobras, awsome stuff.I would get the polished copper version but just couldnt justify loosing the horsepower in extra weight .
For those who missed the show an American AC Cobra enthusiast looked at a mates Soviet jet fighter he had just purchased. He reckoned that the way it was built they could copy the original AC Cobra body but bettter. He contacted the Polish factory, who surprise suprise werent too busy as the Ruskis dont need or have the $$$$$ for any more fighter bombers.
The result is they are now buildind AC Cobra bodies (and others) to 1/1000sths of an inch at better than original manufacture.
AND THE POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO
Better than anything from Italy powered by the good old 302 Windsor.

Andy you could not park the copper Cobra next to the Disco aluminium and copper do not mix (electrolysis )

    So good choice.

There was one on e-bay aust recently - bidding didn't get above $60k - even though the ad explained what it was - I think most people thought it was just another cheap and nasty replica - they are very valuable O/S
