    Well I finally did it....

    I have always planned to read "Decline and fall of the Roman Empire" by Edward Gibbon. I managed to get a six volume set in J M Dent's "Everyman's Library". The volumes are minus dust jackets but are in lovely condition. It is over 3000 pages of not very large print.
