    Irony? Or Just Bad Timing

    Hello All,

I have been making and installing insect screens in my house for the past week. I had to order more material from two of the local aluminium frame suppliers. The required materials will not be available until Thursday.

While I am writing this message I am fending off mosquitoes! Irony? Or just bad timing?

This time next week I hope not to be in the same situation.

I have three types of windows: Double Sash, Awning, and Louvres. Plus a couple of French doors too.

The sash windows have been done this week.....

Damn mosquitoes! why can't the just bounce off the sash window screens and say... "looks like we can't get in here any more. Let's go to some where else!"

    Kind regards
    Lionel

They get intelligence from Louie the fly, prior preparation and all that. Just on fly screens, two houses opposite us on the edge of the " Brighton wetlands" , both on the market for $ 1.2 million, one sold for 800,000 do not have a single flyscreen on their windows. When I mentioned this to the new owner, he said " do you get mossies here? " Didn't say anything but thought, " what part of wetlands don't you understand. "
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
