Can I have some of what you're on, please Mario?![]()
i had an Ambo trip at 12.30 am down to the local Hospital. whilst I was in the short term ward resting they turned the lights off so I could get some sleep. They I was awoken by some pretty loud bangs. It sounded like someone had a sledge hammer was was smashing a metal filing cabinet or similar , it was really violent sounding , I thought someone had lost the plot and was on a rampage. Then it did it again a short time later.
The the lights came on REAL BRIGHT, not normal brightness like when the ward lights are on, these were so intense like a WELDING FLASH, then they returned to normal soft night lighting. This happened again, Had me thinking were must have been a power spike of something.
Later on when the nurse came in to check on me I asked what he commotion was with the banging and what was wrong with the lights why they had suddenly got so bright.
She said she didn't know what I was talking about. I said in reply, that you couldn't of missed that.
HMM, was it me hallucinating? was it the bright lights you her about when crossing over but my time was not ready? was the nurse Blind and deaf?
Can I have some of what you're on, please Mario?![]()

ahhh just be bored nurses on nightshift messing with your mind man.
Im not sure if its related but from some of my experience with insomnia and pulling long long shifts without sleep.
once asleep something that disturbs me does so with enhanced amplitude. after a long day ,the overhanging tree scratching on the tiles of the roof sounds like wood being fed into a wood chipper thats located somewhere in my ear.
the bedside clock, even on its lowest illumination is bright enough for me to consider it a fairly good option for a sleep deprivation interrogation room.
even on a normal day, once I've slept for 20 minutes or more in the bedroom if I wake up and its dark outside the paltry light coming from the clock, the neon indicator in the power board and my phones always on when charging screen is enough for me to get dressed in
Hopefully its just a similar thing for you.

Any pain meds? When I got off the strong stuff a Doc as he was concerned I had stopped using my majic button which gave me enough for an elephant every five minutesI needed that for 4 days then simply stopped pushing the button.
The Doct injected me with one which I refused to take after the first one. Psychedelic party lights if I closed my eyes every single time. Freaked me out - not my type of fun yet I hear its a big seller for the drug users out there.
Spooky + going through what you did mate.
I had a UTI it seems, any one who has had experience with elderly and UTIs will know. It's cheaper than meth or heroine and you get some realistic tripping. Once the antibiotics kick in the don't remember anything has happened. Some times they get violent as they feel threatened and some how get super strength. Often health care think they have lost the plot and need mental help when all they need is antibiotics.
Haven't been well since leaving hospital, hmmmmm hope not the virus
Maybe it was, especially if the Drugs were stored in a Metal box.sounded like someone had a sledge hammer was was smashing a metal filing cabinet or similar
a. She may not have been on duty or in the area so knew nothing.
b. She knew but wasn't about to alarm you in your state.
Some of the things I heard & saw when I was once in that situation in the old RAH.
The sound of a building on fire was the A/C fans either having their speed boosted for ventilation purposes or just sounded louder later at night because normal activity was at a standstill & therefore amplified. Me wondering wtf nobody seemed to care & just kept on walking past. Later I recall discussing this with a Japanese Sister in the basement.
Problem with that of course. There were no Japanese sisters or Nurses on staff & the building apparently did not have a Basement. But I remember that. Possibly.
I actually saw an Asian Flea Market set up in the ICU for off duty staff to use. I did, I actually saw it. I think
Experienced a Shark like door opening into an X-ray machine. Really saw that. I think.
The fire alarm with bells & sirens was ridgy didge though, & automatic fire doors slamming loudly as it seems some anesthetics & sprays can set off some sensors, was real.
Won't bore you with other hallucinations especially the one about seeing weird looking 1 legged Soldiers moving around a Monitoring Screen. Next morning I discovered it was just numbers. I had been pumped up with all sorts of "Virus Killers" in 2012 but thankfully "made it out the other side" as they are prone to saying these days.
They never did specify the cause of my problem so could have been anything.
