Would you pass the Australian citizenship test?

Not sure? Have some fun by having a go at the online practice test. Note this is the current version, which will be changed on 15 November.

BTW I'm pretty clued up on this stuff, but I still got one of the 20 questions wrong, so don't hurry. A pass is 75%.

I think we had to answer 5 fairly basic questions 20yrs back, I flew through, but the mrs had to be prompted by myself and the examiner...and we finally got her over the line!

It was the Bradman question, the Don's batting average wasn't quite 100, only joking, I don't think I had to do a questionnaire when I applied, or if there was, it was very short, not 20 questions.

Why is there a question about the Aboriginal flag and yet the Australian flag doesn't even get a mention ??

I got 19. You can change the answers to each question and the tally will change in real time. This will allow you to figure out which one you got wrong.
I got number 17 wrong. Didn't know each State had a constitution.

    Hi
    Ditto.

Isn't the Aboriginal flag design owned by a buisiness
and there is some legal shenanigans going on over it at the moment?

    Cheers

Yep, AFL mentioned something about copyright for their indigenous round there didn’t use the flag this year.

The supposed correct answer to 5. is "People can peacefully protest against government decisions"

Sorry but the Covid thing has shown this is not true - an indeed it has never been as approval has to be sought to protest - permits are required. The BLM protest in Sydney and its court battles is an example - as is the arrest of the pregnant bimbo in Victoria for inciting people on social media to protest the lockdowns etc.

    5. Which of these is an example of freedom of speech?

People can peacefully protest against government decisions

Men and women are treated equally in a court of law
Australians are free to not follow a religion

You CAN peacefully protest as long as you don't break the law.
The COV19 protests are defying the lock down which IS unlawful and they know verry well that they are breaking the law AND endangering others in the process.
