Remember the movie Gravity...? Sandra Bullock and George Clooney floating about.
I read a news item today that reminded me of the movie.

A case of watch this space i guess. 2020 huh?
Edit: Just looking through LeoLabs website and found this. A 3D visualisation of space traffic...

Last night when this was posted the miss distance was estimated to be less than 25m and probability of collision at 1%-20%.
This morning on Twitter, LeoLabs modelling is now showing a miss distance of approx 12m (+18m/-12m) and a probability of collision of greater than 10%. Could come to nothing but interesting to see how all that stuff up there is monitored.

					...and they missed...
Latest modelling this morning was a miss distance of 25m +/- 18m (1 standard deviation distance). Given the size and dimensions of these things and that the centre of mass was the reference point, it was quite possibly a close one.
