Too bad you went at the wrong time of year - but then I didn't even know Canada had a summer.

"ROOTS" is a popular sporting brand in Canada.

When I was there I got a "Roots Canada" T Shirt.

I'm not sure if they make Pucks but it could make for some interesting advertising material.

Turns out there IS no wrong time of year. Summer is fantastic and the only time you'll see those blue green waters and bears (if u r lucky) whcih hivernate in winter.

I;m sure winter would be magical as well, judging by the pics I;ve seen but with temps sometimes down to 40 degrees BELOW zero it may be a nice place to visit but no-one in their right mid would want to live there.

I quite liked Victoria though, climate very similar to Brisbane. (snows only VERY occasionally - a bit like Canberra in that regard).

    Anyway I'd heartily recommendL
    1. Canada.
    2. The Rocky Mountaineer train
    3. Scenic Tours.

We were looked after VERY well.
