Duffing is the hardest allegation to get a jury to deliver a guilty verdict.
There was a case of a bloke charged with duffing, in the Roma Court. He was caught, redheaded, with the stolen cattle in his possession.
The Jury returned with an explanation "We think he probably did it, but we're not sure."
They were sent back for further deliberation and after another couple of statements, in a similar vein, the Judge read the riot act.
The final verdict was Not Guilty, then the forman added the rider, if he gives them back. [bigrolf]
