So sorry to read about all your issues. As a matter of interest, how much money has been paid to all the hangers-on/organisers? From my limited exposure to the NDIS it seems the businesses and individuals that hang off the recipient seem to be main ones benefiting. Also same within the My Aged Care system.

Your not wrong, everything has an extra 0 on the end of it and not 0 for the cents part of it.

thanks Epic, but today that seems a distant dream still, not a happy day today.

I woke at 4am with legs that l could not move and stiff knee joints and in extreme pain. I managed to unlock my knees and got them to bend. Then later in the morning Heather came to get me out of bed to do toilet duties and dress me.
I could not stand up and when I finally after numerous goes I stood up and my right knee gave out and I slumped back on the bed. I tried again Heather Dressed me and hobbled with my walker to the loungeroom to my lift chair, were I spend most of the day getting real saddle sore.

Yesterday after I sat down, I then had a spell, my eyes rolled back into my head, Heather told me I passed out with my eyes open. During that episode I thought I was passing away, it was a horrible feeling inside my head.
I have really deteriorated over the week and had a good cry this morning trapped in this useless body.

Things will get better once the Wheel chair comes and the lift finally arrives so I can use it inside the house, but the lift company was at fault
The builder was going to meet the lift company last Friday to go over the preparation, Friday morning comes and the lift company rings to say next week. then the builders ring and apology
Then I can independently raid the fridge etc with out relying on Heather for everything, as I can see she is getting very tired.

Today Heather informs me that the Laundry tum waste pipe is leaking, at least this time it's not the hire shower that has it's waste water run into it leaking this time. A simple trap o ring replacement that I would have replaced is beyond me now, I have to wait till next week when my mate comes back.

Spoke too soon, the hire shower is leaking out the rear again, and of coarse it's Easter so have to wait into; Tuesday to ring them, this is a joke considering what these thing cost to hire. GRRR

Oh no, that doesnt sound like a good day at all how did you manage th last couple of days with the broken things? it always happens on a long weekend! hope you are feeling a bit better than that day though, sounds like you had a siezure? those are really, really scary and i am so sorry you thought you were dying. would have been terrifying. hope not had anymore since! The lift will be really good when its here! raiding the fridge yourself again wil be absolutly wonderful!!

Today, well trying to contact the shower hire firm gee hard to get to speak to the right person, this was organised on our behalf by other who are uncontactable today. Heather's on the blower to them.

I am over it, and they say there is a payment issue from NDIS via the portal
then Heather rings the commode people.
My shower toilet commode which is much needed, prescripted to my needs, well that's still coming from the US!. we weren't told that before, don't we make anything here any more?
It just goes on and on

:O its so bad that its the people like you and I, the participants, who suffer when the NDIS portal doesnt work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gosh, thats insane something like that coming from US! something so urgent should be readily available here.
