Wink All excited and barred up

Well I'm so excited and barred up at last.

I managed to get hold of a second hand TJM Alloy bullbar with 2 Cibie Oscar driving lights. It was fitted on Thursday and the lights wired yesterday. I'm off for a little drive tonight to line up the lights. I gave them a brief turn on last night and they are so bright they could be a hazard to shipping on the east coast of Australia.

I now have a Discovery II front bar sitting in a garage so if any one wants it or knows someone who does PM me. One of the headlight washer units was broken but the other is ok.

    Cheers.

    Jack

BTW the bar is in Penrith in Sydney's west.

Well I can understand your excitment JackH.

I spent the afternoon fitting an ARB bullbar to my DII.. Couple of little things to finish off tomorrow - but really pleased with the outcome

I haven't changed bullbars, the original plastic front bumper bar was replaced with the TJM bullbar.

What really surprised me was just how heavy the original plastic unit is, the alloy bar is only heavier by a couple of kilos and that's with the driving lights on it.

    Great idea - thanks

Maybe an area could be set up where we could place any unwanted gear to dispose of on display - just a thought
