AT RESTIt's been announced the Breaking with be classed as a sport in 2024 Paris Olympics. Wonder how the team uniforms will look with base ball caps and baggy clothes and basket ball boots.

SupporterAh! the good 'ol traditional, and historic, sport of breakdancing .. good to see this 2000+ year old artform, first practised by the Greek philosopher Mihali Zackinopolouson, finally making it's comeback.
I think its origins stem from some traditional dancing scare tactics practised to ward off the enemy .. or maybe it was the doctor coming with the enema(a bit of confusion and controversy among the Greek community there).
Anyhow, I remember my great great grandfather telling me stories of his youth spent practising the art, before it got mangled into what we now know as the zorba!
... Malaka Zorba, apparently he was in a comp doing breaking, and suddenly stood up to do it, and the rest became history.
