Wasn't it just... best ten minutes of live stream I have seen in a long while!
So they launched a silo with wings, which appeared to go straight up and straigh down and destroy itself where it started.
So, what was the success? The launch? The flight? Or the destruction?
If that's the future of space travel. Like this new vaccine and the new Defender, I'll wait a while thanks.
The success was the ****-ton of data gained from that 6 minutes and 42 seconds of flight (and landing). [biggrin]

The poor single engine that re-lit just couldnt carry the whole thing.
SN9 (maybe in less than two weeks } will be even better !!
I would rather it crash in a test - to test such things - rather than crash on its first mission.
One of the aims of tests is to find out problems and issues.
Yeah, a failure would have been it just exploding on the pad, I’m sure they got their money’s worth in the data gained from this and overall very successful. They just need to use engines made by someone other than Land Rover next time... 😇
At the end there it was ‘The little engine that couldn’t quite’ although it was a valiant attempt. 👍
I don't think the engines failed. They were shut down in order as they got further away from earth only needing the one for the last part of the journey. You can clearly see all engines fire up for the landing.
